"Rio 40 Graus"

"Just walking the streets of Rio de Janeiro brings out enormous joy, and even giddiness, in me. This was one of the first images I took there, shortly after arriving on Christmas Day, as I was walking in Ipanema looking for a place to have a late lunch. The people, the food, the music are all so interesting that there is never a dull moment, but the most magnificent thing is the sunset on the beach.
Tejas and Mount Royal was the perfect combo to add warmth and saturation to the beautiful afternoon light."
