"Over the past 5 years, I have done street photography all over the United States. I am a huge fan of New York City; Chicago is fabulous and highly underrated; San Francisco is gritty and diverse, however, my absolute favorite place to document is Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles. At this point in time, that street is a mix of old and new. Gentrification has added a new feel as it has squeezed out many of the older businesses but enough of the past remains to preserve Broadway’s history."

"Every few weeks I travel to Jerusalem, to shoot in the Orthodox Jewish communities. It is a fascinating environment, as everything has remained unchanged over the years. It's a closed community that doesn't like to be photographed, so I must stay invisible or blend in as much as possible without getting noticed..."

"I love to make photos, especially on iPhone with Hipstamatic. Black and White combos remind me of old film cameras. A year ago, I decided to begin a photo project called "Street Life". I used my favourite combo to capture the moments of happiness, sadness, shadows, peoples' emotions, buildings, and life on the streets. The combo (John S+ BlacKeys Supergrain) creates amazing photos in different situations. It's my Number 1 combination for shooting!"
