One of my favourite things is to shoot street scenes from one of the many elevated walkways that connect some of the buildings, particularly in the Central district of Hong Kong. There are a couple of pedestrian crossings that provide the perfect backdrop of pattern and lines, and sometimes trams and cars as well. I find myself shooting pedestrian crossings either from this elevated vantage point or from a stopped car, which is when I usually take a side profile shot, \u00e0 la 'Abbey Road'. I also like shooting people on escalators from above.
