The new kid on the block is called Cinamatic and we can safely say that Hipstamatic has just put solid claim in the video market.<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The principle is quite simple: <strong>Cinamatic<\/strong> offers the possibility of recording between 3-15 second videos to which you can add an array of visual effects. It basically boils down to what <strong>Oggl<\/strong> does, but for video: some filters are vintage inspired; others go for a more grungy aspect, and some involve a simple conversion to black and white.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/92678067?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0&amp;color=fc363b\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although <strong>Cinamatic<\/strong> isn\u2019t directly linked to <strong>Hipstamatic Classic<\/strong> or <strong>Oggl<\/strong>, it\u2019s clear that there is that certain \"haus style\". \u00a0Firstly there\u2019s the square format, which is a great idea and will allow the creatives to express themselves in this unusual format. The design is rather fetching, clean but very innovative; the effects are really nice and were named <strong>Darwin<\/strong>, <strong>Federico<\/strong>, <strong>Andrei<\/strong>, <strong>Marc<\/strong>, <strong>Charlie<\/strong>, <strong>Bennett<\/strong> or <strong>Robert<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Five filters are included in the purchase of <strong>Cinamatic<\/strong>, others can be bought seperately (prices between 0$ and 3.99$). Why? Mainly because I\u2019ve rediscovered the <strong>Hipstamatic<\/strong> touch, of which I am a definite fan, but also because of its simplicity: you get a really cool result in a few seconds and sharing seems to be super easy to do.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/94448050?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0&amp;color=ffffff\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Cinamatic<\/strong> is available, as of today, in the App Store for the modest sum of $1.99 (1,89\u00a0\u20ac). Your clip cannot be shorter than 3 seconds and cannot exceed 15 seconds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It\u2019s possible to film in separate segments; all you need to do is release the record-button to interrupt your filming and hold it down again to continue. This way you can split the video, which will allow you to apply some really cool transitions (automatically) during the \"<strong>Process<\/strong>\" phase.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/hipstography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/screenshot_11.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-CP8OowNo\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26009\" src=\"http:\/\/hipstography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/screenshot_11.jpg\" alt=\"screenshot_11\" width=\"960\" height=\"550\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hipstography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/screenshot_11.jpg 960w, https:\/\/hipstography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/screenshot_11-300x171.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To continue with the next (<strong>Process<\/strong>) phase, you need to confirm your choice by tapping the \"<strong>V<\/strong>\". If, however, you\u2019re not happy with your clip, you can always choose \"<strong>X<\/strong>\" and erase it.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Library<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By accessing your internal <strong>Cinamatic<\/strong> library, you are given the opportunity to either \"<strong>Edit<\/strong>\" or modify your clips. You can also gain access to your library by hitting the \"film roll\" button (<strong>4<\/strong>) on your main screen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to name or rename your video, you can hit the number that represents the duration of your clip. If your clip is 15 seconds long, you get two choices: you can \"<strong>Choose Film<\/strong>\" to start editing or you can \"<strong>Edit Clip Name<\/strong>\" to name\/rename your clip.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If your clip happens to be shorter than 15 seconds, you are given a third option: \"<strong>Reload Clip into Camera<\/strong>\". It\u2019s a shame, though, that there is no direct link between <strong>Cinamatic<\/strong> and <strong>Classic<\/strong> or <strong>Oggl<\/strong>. It might have been interesting to see what <strong>John S<\/strong> could have brought to the moving image medium, but I\u2019m assuming that this new app wants to differentiate itself from its siblings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are, at this point, five different filters: <strong>Darwin<\/strong>, <strong>Andrei<\/strong>, <strong>Marc<\/strong>, <strong>Bennett<\/strong> and <strong>Robert<\/strong>. In other words, five distinctly different moods you can apply to your videos. It wouldn\u2019t be far-fetched to suggest that <strong>Darwin<\/strong> is possibly <strong>Float<\/strong>\u2019s brother, <strong>Andrei<\/strong> is quite likely<strong> AO BW<\/strong>\u2019s son, <strong>Marc<\/strong> might be <strong>Florence<\/strong>\u2019s cousin, <strong>Bennet<\/strong> is almost certainly <strong>Loftus<\/strong>\u2019 little brother and <strong>Robert<\/strong> no doubt married into <strong>Mabel<\/strong>\u2019s family.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/hipstography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/screenshot_13.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-CP8OowNo\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26013\" src=\"http:\/\/hipstography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/screenshot_13.jpg\" alt=\"screenshot_13\" width=\"960\" height=\"550\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hipstography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/screenshot_13.jpg 960w, https:\/\/hipstography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/screenshot_13-300x171.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>Cinamatic<\/strong> family, however, isn\u2019t restricted to these five members.
