\"iPhone6_official_02\"<\/a>Within the next two weeks, two new iPhones will be launched. While rumours of an XL version have been going around, I was surprised to see the iPhone 6 Plus. Too small to be an iPad, yet too large to be an iPhone, I\u2019m a bit baffled by its size. I thought the same thing as everyone else: \"will it fit in the pocket of my jacket or jeans?\"<\/h4>\n

A larger screen is, of course, an obvious advantage for photography. There is the added benefit of having a better view of what you\u2019re shooting, and, immediately getting a clearer picture of what you\u2019ve actually shot. I\u2019m regularly disappointed by pictures that looked good on my iPhone<\/strong> but turn out to be rather a let down by what appears on my iMac screen. The other bonus of the 6 Plus<\/strong> is that it is the only iPhone with an optical stabilizer, which allows for sharper pictures regardless of the circumstances.<\/p>\n

\"iPhone6_official_01\"<\/a>With that said, won\u2019t an iPhone<\/strong> of that size be a bit inconvenient in some cases? I\u2019m thinking of street photography, in particular, which calls for a certain amount of discretion. I\u2019m kind of struggling with the idea of whether I actually want an iPhone of this size.<\/p>\n

I also wonder if the slightly bigger screen of the iPhone 6<\/strong> (4,7\") is worth it. But, ain\u2019t it pretty?\u00a0;-)<\/p>\n

All of this leaves me with an awful lot of questions, as I wasn\u2019t invited by Apple<\/strong> to the keynote and wasn\u2019t able to actually hold either of the two new models. So, my questions remained unanswered\u2026 until this morning, when I discovered a helpful arts and craft site that I am about to share with you.<\/p>\n

Arts and Crafts workshop anyone?<\/p>\n

Firstly<\/strong>, head on over to arstechnica.com<\/span><\/a>. They were nice enough to produce a document with templates of the iPhone 5S<\/strong>, 6<\/strong> and 6 Plus<\/strong>. All you need to do is download the PDF<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and print it out. Make sure to deactivate the \"Fit to Page\" option on your printer and PRINT!<\/p>\n

Secondly<\/strong>, glue the A4 page to a piece of solid cardboard and cut out the templates of the 6<\/strong> and 6 Plus<\/strong>. This does not take into account the weight of the phones, clearly, but it does accurately represent the size.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
