\"Hipstamatic often surprises us with unexpected results. And sometimes I feel inspired to reproduce them. But this time it was the medium \u2013 the camera lens \u2013 itself that showed me the way. It was the eye of my phone which revealed to me something I hadn't seen with my own eyes. While waiting for my train at Roma Termini railway station I walked around looking for some promising motifs to shoot and I felt attracted by lots of orange light coming from a passage. I wanted to try the Libatique<\/strong> lens with it and \u2013 quite aimlessly \u2013 shot some pictures which I found nice but boring. And it was only on these pictures that I discovered this very special mirror effect. So I looked for a better position and from that moment on I knew what I was looking and waiting for. A famous statement by Susan Sontag came to my mind, namely: 'The medium is the message.' And the act of creating is a very interesting thing. \"<\/em>
