\"I\u2019ve always had a great interest in photography but never took photos until I bought my first iPhone, in the fall of 2012. The ease and immediacy of shooting with a phone instead of a camera, the invisibility that it allows, and above all the experience of sharing on Instagram were a few of the contributing factors that led me to start taking pictures. Then I discovered Hipstamatic<\/strong> and that was it!! I loved it and I still do... passionately. At times, I find it frustrating because Hipstamatic<\/strong> has a mind of its own but also immensely exciting because I love not knowing how the images will turn out. The uncertainty of street photography - who will walk into my scene, how the light will change as I wait and whether I\u2019ve made the right Hipstamatic choice - are the essence of what I love about photography.\"<\/em>
