Nine months later, a new beta version was released for the testers. It is taking an awfully long time to see the light of day: can you tell us what the delay is?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mario Estrada: As most of you guys know, we\u2019re a small team and <strong>Ryan Dorshorst<\/strong> is our only developer. We started building <strong>300<\/strong> and got really excited about the possibility of bringing new life to an old app \u2013 we took a break from <strong>Hipstamatic<\/strong> to create <a href=\"http:\/\/hipstography.com\/en\/news-en\/hipstamatic-dspo-2.html\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>DSPO<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. After the launch, we jumped back into <strong>Hipstamatic<\/strong> - this time with more ideas and more tools that needed to be built. As we added new features, the processor needed some retooling which has added more time to the release.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>OK, I will ask the question that is on everybody\u2019s lips: is there a final public release date for the 300 version?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We give ourselves internal deadlines but some bugs are harder to squash and take more time. We\u2019re currently focused on optimizing the app to decrease crashing. It\u2019s been a bit of a challenge and once we submit, we have no idea how long Apple will take to approve it - there is also the possibility that it could be rejected which could take even longer. New ideas, or new functions?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The team of Beta testers have provided a ton of great feedback and feature requests. There is so much that we would love to do and will continue to work on. We could work on it forever but right now we\u2019re happy with the set features and are super eager to get it out into the hands of our incredible users. Future updates will continue to make <strong>Hipstamatic<\/strong> even more amazing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What are your 3 preferred new functions?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">-\u00a0There is a new organizational tool in the library, which allows you to view just your favorite images. I shoot a ton, so this works great because I can go through the main library and favorite (or delete) images and then edit from the select favorites. It\u2019s a beautiful way to show just the best photos.<br \/>\n-\u00a0The new <strong>Clarity<\/strong> tool pops the contrast and when used carefully, it can really make the image stronger.<br \/>\n-\u00a0The <strong>Straighten<\/strong> tool is something that I\u2019ve been getting a lot of use out of.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/hipstography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Mario-Estrada-Hipstamatic-300-03.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-bBbDSpiS\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-43621\" src=\"http:\/\/hipstography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Mario-Estrada-Hipstamatic-300-03.jpg\" alt=\"Mario-Estrada-Hipstamatic-300-03\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hipstography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Mario-Estrada-Hipstamatic-300-03.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/hipstography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Mario-Estrada-Hipstamatic-300-03-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hipstography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Mario-Estrada-Hipstamatic-300-03-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The new iPhone will make use of the \u201cForce Touch\u201d: do you think this will eventually be included in your apps?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That is the rumor and while I\u2019d like to say yes, we haven\u2019t had a meeting to discuss how it would make sense for <strong>Hipstamatic<\/strong>. I\u2019m sure our community won\u2019t hesitate to tell us how they\u2019d like to use the feature. For now, where focused on what is currently available\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>You must all be pretty exhausted by the long months of work and development. Are you planning a party for the official release of this new Classic version? Are we invited?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The party will be more of a digital celebration. We\u2019re coming up on our 6th anniversary on the AppStore and we\u2019re proud of what we\u2019ve accomplished, and all of the incredible work that has been created over the years. We\u2019ll be posting about the campaign in the coming weeks and hoping everyone participates in sharing their favorite <strong>Hipstamatic<\/strong> memories.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>September First Friday?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Every month, we submit the new Pak a week ahead of it\u2019s release. Apple usually approves it within 48 hours - this month they\u2019ve added a bit of suspense, haha! The new <strong>Budapest HipstaPak<\/strong> will hopefully be approved in the next couple of days.
