\"Otaru is a port town on the island of Hokkaido in Japan. It is northwest of the main city of Sapporo. In the winter, it snows almost constantly from November to March. These two were offering rickshaw rides along the canal although I'm not quite sure how they manage in the snowy conditions. When I took this shot they were walking away from the canal area - perhaps because the snow was falling quite heavily or they needed some lunch to warm themselves up!\"<\/em>
