And the Hipstography Awards 2015<\/strong> are off to a flying start! The jury members are already working their socks off and it won\u2019t be an easy task: they will have to select the best from hundreds of pictures and series in each category. Without giving too much away, we can say that it\u2019s already a close call in a few of those categories.<\/p>\n

Before giving you the details about how all of this will pan out, I\u2019d like to introduce the 2015-jury members, as well as thanking them from the bottom of my heart for the time they are taking out to participate in this endeavor:<\/p>\n

They are a group of internationally recognized photographers
\nwho have associated their names with Hipstamatic lenses:<\/p>\n

They are also journalists, photojournalists, as well as pioneers in the world
\nof mobile photography, inspiring users with their knowledge and expertise:<\/p>\n

The jury votes will close on January 24th and the final list of nominees will be announced the following week. After that, it will be up to you, the public, to cast your votes. The outcome of the public vote will then be added to that of the jury and the winners will be announced mid-February, during the much-awaited ceremony.<\/p>\n

Although this is a competition, the Hipstography Awards<\/strong> is more of a retrospective of all the work that was published in 2015 and to put \"that little app that has shaken the photography world so much\", into the spotlight. May the best win!<\/p>\n
