The not-to-be-missed event in the world of Hipstamatic<\/strong> is just around the corner: the Hipstography Awards 2016<\/strong> are set to kick off in January. Once again, the most beautiful pictures and series of 2016 will be acknowledged and rewarded. First off, we\u2019d like to thank all who participated and you have been more numerous than ever before. It\u2019s impossible for us to publish hundreds of photos or to respond to everyone in person, for which we apologize. Unfortunately, you will have to wait a few weeks to discover the nominees.<\/p>\n

The basic principles remain the same: a jury will have the unenviable task of selecting about ten nominees in each category, among all the series and photos published on the site during 2016, as well as from the photos that were sent in for the submissions. After this, it will be your turn to vote for your favorites, and at the end of January, your votes will be added to those of the jury: the winners will be announced at the beginning of February, during the Grand Ceremony.<\/p>\n

Submissions have now been closed but you can continue to tag your pictures, on the various social media sites, with #hipstography<\/strong>, of send us your links on our Contact page<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. If your series are so spectacular, or show amazing creativity, they could still be published in December and thus, you could still be a potential candidate!
