\"Once again, this holiday season is very special to me. The MTA offers nostalgia lovers the opportunity to the ride back into the past, with rides on vintage buses and subway trains. There\u2019s no better way to celebrate the holiday season by riding this magical train, dating back to the early part of last century. The Nostalgia Train is made up of subway cars in service, along the lettered lines between the early1930s to the mid-1970s. Equipped with ceiling fans, padded seats and incandescent light bulbs, the R\/1 through R\/9 cars served the IND and later some BMT lines. Perfect time and event to make memories. Enjoy the ride through my eyes.\"<\/em>
