\"I\u2019ve always been intrigued by diptychs, two hinged like-photos with a sort of inconclusive story. There is a strange mystery to them, often with voyeuristic qualities. To me, they are the beginning and middle of a sentence. While capturing these timeless scenes of American nostalgia, I continued to reach for the Hipstamatic camera. I enjoy the simplicity of the device and the element of surprise in the final result. I feel that having less in the field and keeping myself limited holds an integrity to the storyline.<\/em>\"<\/em>
