"Fall in Steamboat Springs, Colorado"
"Located 150 miles northwest of Denver, Steamboat Springs is a cowboy town as well as a ski town. Most people visit in summer or winter, but autumn is particularly beautiful. The weather is cool, the sky is a deep blue and the mountains turn golden. Ranchers are finalizing their hay harvest. The fall colors aren’t as showy as in New England, mainly shades of yellow and some orange. I used Jane with the temperature/tint turned down a bit and reduced the highlights in these photos to add additional warmth while still keeping the colors realistic. Triple Crown and a clarity adjustment add additional detail."
