"This fall, I have spent as much time outdoors as possible. I live in a small town on the Downeast coast of Maine, close to Acadia National Park and many other beautiful and unspoiled places. I am a daily walker and I also hike and kayak regularly.
Capturing light is always my goal, particularly in the early morning or late afternoon. These are places that I go back to again and again, always looking to find more depth and atmosphere.
I am grateful to live in a rural area and in a place where access to nature and amazing landscapes are right outside my door.
This combo came about while I was photographing on a foggy morning. The frost had settled on the fields and the fog was rising and moving as the sun came up. I think that it also works well for end of the day shots."
