Combo #313 (Sofia Häggbom)
Lens: Jack London
Film: Sugar
Using: Oggl
"This is my idea of a perfect winter. I grew up with these kind of winters and I do miss them now that I live in a warmer part of the country. These photos were taken in a part of Sweden called Dalarna. The landscape in this area is filled with forests and there are lakes everywhere. In the winter it is not unusual with long periods of temperatures around minus 20-30 degrees Celsius, usually with no wind. It is cold and many people would not like it but, I really enjoy it because it makes nature stunningly beautiful and it brings a special kind of stillness. The white trees and the ice formations are magical and the crunchy sound of my steps in the snow makes me happy.
Jack London turned out to be a great match for the white and blue colors of winter. The Sugar frame with it's blurred edge is simple and a nice addition to Jack London."

Combo #314 (Lee Atwell)
Lens: G2
Film: Rasputin
Using: Oggl
"This combo has a very strong contrast with a green cast. I found it to be a good combo to use on winter photo adventures to help add golden warmth to cold days. It works well in bright light such as sunny snow scenes and at the magic hour - during the hour before sunset. The combo can also add a dramatic effect to sunsets. The combo was inspired by Alon Goldsmith."

Combo #318 (Patricia Truchsess)
Lens: Benedict
Film: Otto
Using: Oggl
"Snow and sun and morning fog is a perfect combination… Rudi and I were looking for nice spots. Light is such a beautiful thing and very worth getting up way earlier than I normally would! Benedict just added more magic to it!"

Combo #319 (Sebastian Kroll)
Lens: Florence
Film: Blanko 1
Flash: off
"I used this combo very often during my holiday in South-Africa. Each stop along the way only offered us a limited amount of time, but this combo almost always guaranteed a perfect capture of the moment. The Florence lens has a golden touch to it and my favourite film, the Blanko One, gives every picture a painting-like quality. It makes you want to touch the uneven-looking structure of the picture's surface. Together they catch those moments in a warm and golden light, adding romance to the existing scenery. This combo gives everything an almost kitsch or cliche feel, while just not taking itself too seriously. The blue of the sky also becomes very special with this combo. Overall, my favourite combo for the summer in general, and this vacation in particular."

Combo #337 (Joy Coyle)
Lens: Mabel
Film: Ina's 1982
Flash: Jolly Rainbo 2X
"These images were all shot around my local community in the city of Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty, over the past week, a week which marks the last official week of summer in New Zealand. We expect the great weather to continue for weeks yet though, even if the days are getting shorter, and the evenings and nights slightly cooler."

Combo #341 (Henk Goossens)
Lens: Hannah
Film: Robusta
Using: Oggl
"The general theme here is water, trees and the landscape, forever subject to nature's perpetual ebb and flow. All of this is close to where I live and easily accessible by bike or on foot. Some areas were artificially constructed during the Delta works, to protect this part of the Netherlands after the 1953 floods. In the past few years though, part of the landscape is once again being left to the devices of Mother Nature. The Hannah/Robusta combo delivers clear images, regardless of contrast as well as weather conditions."

Combo #365 (Rainer Kude)
Lens: Eric
Film: Manneken
Using: Oggl
"I was visiting the Maldives for the first time. We spent ten wonderful days on a small island, located in the South Ari Atoll. In May, the weather changes slowly from calm and sunny to the rainy season, during the Southwest monsoon. A perfect place to relax, do some snorkeling and, of course, shooting photos. The island was like paradise, ogglers paradise, in particular ! Great motifs, dramatic light and powerful colors, especially the blues and greens. I love the way the Eric lens deals with contrast, producing, together with the Manneken film, this typical Polaroid feel. One of the strongest combos ever released in my opinion."
Rainer Kude
Combo #416 (Lydia Cassatt)
Photos: Lydia Cassatt
Lens: Jack London (55%)
Film: Blanko BL4 (24%)
Flash: Standard (20%)
Exposure: -0,2 • Clarity: 18 • Highlights: -14 • Vibrancy: -19
"This combo is well suited to the misty, grey and foggy days that we have here on the coast of Maine. It also works with the more vividly toned subjects and captures colors but it's softer, not exaggerated."
Lydia Cassatt
