Combo #516 (Nicolas Xanthos)

Lens:  Scott S
Film:  Blackeys IR

"Sunny days are not necessarily the best for photography, but the Bucktown HipstaPak promptly opens the doors to a multitude of possibilities. Whether the sky is blue or slightly cloudy, Bucktown’s exaggerated contrast gives everything a dramatic feel and if the subject itself is light coloured, the whole really becomes striking. Snowy places are magnificent in their clarity and any piece of architecture will immediately seem to jump straight out of a 40’s Hollywood movie, while landscapes gain depth and definition."
Nicolas Xanthos

Combo #518 (Marc Zetterblom)

Lens:  John S (30%)
Film:  T. Roosevelt 26
Flash:  Jolly Rainbo 2X (15%)
Exposure: +0.2 • Clarity: 50 • Definition: 10 • Highlights: -16 • Shadows: +10 • Vibrancy: +100 • Fade: 9 • RGB: modified • Texture: 25 • Vignette: 80

"Welcome to Gamla Stan (the Old Town), one of the best preserved medieval city centers in Europe. This is, in fact, where Stockholm was founded in 1252. Today, Gamla Stan, is one of Stockholm's foremost attractions. Sometimes, on my way to or from work, I pass the narrow winding cobblestone streets that give Gamla Stan its unique character. And of course, I have my iPhone with me.
For this series I have chosen two old favorites, the John S lens and the T.Roosevelt 26 film, and paired them with the Jolly Rainbo 2X flash. With some additional slider actions, I think I have found a really nice combo. The John S lens is perfect for gritty BW/monochrome shots, while the T.Roosevelt 26 film is a moody monochrome film that I keep coming back to. The Jolly Rainbo 2X flash increases the vignette and enables the sometimes dark images to glow in the right places."

Combo #525 (Anita Elle)

Lens:  Tachman
Film:  Blackeys IR

"Time flies."

Combo #578 (Kally Klonaris-Smythe)

Lens:  Takashi
Film:  BlacKeys B+W
Flash:  Apollo
Exposure: +0.2 • Vibrancy: -36 • RGB: modified

"This combo was inspired by the natural marine life here in The Bahamas. The subtlety of the colors works perfectly, suggesting what’s possibly there and leaving your mind to fill in the rest. Depending on the lighting, this combo can either produce a minimalist or very detailed photo, which I found to be very fun to work with."
Kally Klonaris-Smythe

Combo #579 ( Sebastian Oskar Kroll)

Lens:  Florence (80%)
Film:  Rock BW-11 (25%)
Flash:  Apollo (30%)
Clarity: 40 • Definition: 15 • Highlights: -10 • Shadows: +25 • Vibrancy: +20 • Face: 30

"Berlin"

"Berlin shouts in your face! It shows its wounds but never forgets to smile. You will only get to see it when you look twice though. Berlin challenges you and the pictures you take of it; she will question you if your pictures are too exaggerated or too dull. Berlin never grows up. Simply because it doesn't want to. And it doesn't need to. Berlin is colorful. Berlin is dirty. Berlin breaks down walls. Berlin is the third gender. Berlin is Berlin. More "Mutterstadt" than "Vaterland". Dear Berlin, Ich liebe Dich - I love you!

This Combo (Tellusborg) was created by Marc Zetterblom. Thanks for that! I'd love to use it in Classic mode. Hopefully Hipstamatic will enable us to do so one day."
Sebastian Oskar Kroll
