"Women warriors are my speciality. As well, when I am taking pictures I don't intend to touch up digitally, Hipstamatic acts a natural extension of my eye. I choose my combo based on the mood I am trying to create.
Bordeaux, in southwestern France is a magnificent, historic city. Its architecture is characterised by stone buildings worn by the centuries. This legacy of the past remains with us to this day in its enduring mystery. And Libatique 73 is the only means to fully capture this in colour. It is reminiscent of calotype, and provides for a really authentic rendition. An added touch is provided by movie-style vignetting. Through its neutrality, Ina's 1969 allows for a consistent approach, from start to finish. What I look for in an image is its ability to take me on a journey, through time or in my imagination."
