"The environment of a modern metropolis is usually an aggregation of everything. In the case of Athens and Thessaloniki, where I tested this combination, the urban environment in both cities is chaotic -but always charming- a mixture of old and new; the ancient landmarks, the contemporary architecture, the public street art, the port, the sea and the urban parks. Big Up Film and its dandified frames, which has always been ideal for my carefree beach photos, has now been tested in these urban contexts, in a variety of light conditions. I think that the effect of this film can be really interesting, adding a playful mood in most of these cases, especially where the pink or the yellow frame appears. Kaimal Mark II together with the new Purple Raindrops Gel Flash paint all the urban fragments in a slightly purple shade. The photos appear to be vibrant and, particularly in day light, very sharp. Overall, a combo with a unique signature."
