"Combining the warmth and vibrance of the Madalena lens with the earthy feel of Rasputin film produces robust images with natural tones and frames them with a fine black border. I live in Southern California and my favorite subject for composing photos is the coastal scene and casual everyday life. I found that using this combo works well for sunsets, portraits, and close ups. Lighting is essential, too. Low light provides dramatic contrasts but bright light gives a painterly feel to the composition. I love this series of photos taken in my hometown. Hope you enjoy them, too."
