"A lens like Libatique 73, inspired and released due to the promotion of the 2011 film "Cowboys and Aliens", may -at first glance- look irrelevant to a photoshoot in the historical center of Rome. But the slight calotype effects, which this lens provides, proved to be a real merit for the creation of a unique and stylish retro vibe. Combined with the warm film Irom 2000, the green tones of Libatique 73 lens are minimized so the overall tones become more neutral, allowing to focus on the structure of the theme more than its colors. What is more, the dark vignette of Jolly Rainbo 2X flash enhances further the square vignette of Libatique 73, making the photos clearly focused on the center and leaving an almost irregular dark frame around. The best use of this combo was where the light conditions were poor and inadequate, in the interior of buildings and in night shots, so that the main theme meets the eye almost immediately, coming out of the dark."
