Combo #301 (Dani Salvadori)
Lens: Chivas
Film: Estrada
Flash: Triple Crown
"London ran out of space to bury its dead in the early 19th century. The city’s solution to this serious problem was to build seven large cemeteries in what were then the suburbs. In the 21st century the cemeteries are situated on the edge of inner London but are long since closed to burials. Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park is in the East End and is both a decaying graveyard and a nature reserve. I found that the combination of Chivas and Estrada, with – crucially - Triple Crown flash brought out the dappled light and the strange mixture of plastic flowers and wild weeds. It’s an extraordinary place to spend the afternoon."
