"I like the John S lens because it has minimal distortion, which is what I wanted with this travel series. While using the BlacKeys Extra Fine with the John S, I came up with what I thought was a cool mix of just enough 'whimsy' for my "Capricho Espanol (Whimsical Spain)" series. I use black and white when I want to convey mood. With these images, I wanted to convey a whimsical sense of place rather than a purely representational sense of place. I was enchanted with Spain and quite simply wanted to communicate that feeling."
