"Some recent walks in the suburbs of Athens gave me the chance to discover places near the sea where old boats "go to die", so to speak. I found it interesting to try this combo with a damaged look on these rusty wrecks. The brand new Versailles Hipstapak soft Savannah lens combined with the Ballard's Shilshole film produces photos with a distinct old and tatty style, while the addition of the strong Triple Crown flash significantly enhances the contrast. Above all, I appreciated the wide palette of blues which this combo creates: from electric and Maya blue in the sky and the clouds, to some rich and deep dark midnight blue in the sea."
