"'A Blue Day in March' is a collection of pictures taken on the beach of Senigallia in Central Italy. On sunny and mild days like, this people go there to walk their dogs or to collect clams for the pasta at dinner. In February and March, when the sun is still low, I'm always fascinated by the long, clearly defined shadows and the strong contrast. I wanted to enhance the wonderful blues of the sky and water, so I added Cadet Blue Gel flash – and yet the warm salmon-pink tones of the Florence lens shine through."
