"The cool blue tones, the contrast and the soft highlights of the combo really did surprise me: particularly the frame of the film. It’s one of my favorite Hipstamatic retro looks. I love how Hipstamatic pictures are random and unalterable at the same time. Some pictures in this series are shot in low light, or at twilight, because I really like the blue metallic look, but all include some kind of symmetry."
