"Every year in late April my husband and I visit the town of Škofja Loka, the origins of which date back to the year 973. It’s name literally translates into English as "the bishop's (wet) meadow", referring to it’s ownership by the Bishops of Freising.
I chose the Florence lens because it’s ideal for sunny days, highlighting color and detail, and perfect for photographing old buildings. Estrada’s texture and characteristic frame liven up the pictures: the smudges intensify the darker areas whilst, in the lighter photos, the effect is almost imperceptible."
