"I enjoy the challenge of being present moment to moment to the surrounding environment within the city streets in order to capture the fleeting transience of life, light and shadows as they go by. This series was taken in Seattle, Washington; Victoria, British Columbia; and Carcross, Yukon.
Living in the Pacific NorthWest can be a challenge to capture light and shadows as we are known for our grey skies and rainy days. However, we had some incredible days of sun this summer that enabled opportunities to play with the juxtaposition of light and dark.
Whether in the brilliant midday sun or indoors, this combination provides beautiful tones with a soft contrast between light and dark."
