"Wandering through New York City's Chinatown is like being transported to another era. It's filled with rundown streets, faded storefronts and weathered buildings. So what better way to capture this eclectic area than with the unpredictable Bettie XL. The light leaks and grainy texture of the Bettie lens accentuate the grittiness of Chinatown in winter. I used the Manneken film and Red Eye Gel to add a nostalgic feel. The combo was perfect for quick, random street shots. The border on the film added the perfect touch - giving the sense that the pictures come from a dusty old album of a long ago trip to NYC!"
