"These snaps were mostly taken while wandering around Ho Chi Minh City. Some of them really show the friendliness and strong character of the people. Other shots hopefully capture a bit of the day-to-day living, as well as the striking contrasts in Saigon life. A few of these shots are from Mui Ne, a beach town outside of Saigon. Many of the shots that look like the countryside are actually from District 7. Those who know Ho Chi Minh City know D7 as a bustling hub of foreign businesses and residences. However, walk a bit further down any road in the city and you'll find a "way out" area, inhabited by poorer folk, squeezed in between the new high rises and shining shopping malls."
