"I love 'mood' photography much more than pure technical perfection, and so this combo is perfect. The Buckhorst H1 lens is often ignored because it adds a soft, low contrast feel, which is not the dramatic look favored by many. And combined with the new C-Type Plate film, it adds an old fashioned quality as if the image will crumble or blow away as you take it out of a musty old drawer of a Grandparents old wooden desk. I love the old school feel of the Hipstamatic app and this combo. I live in a heritage area and so the images I chose were perfect for this combo to enhance the bygone look. I intentionally tried to fool the focus to get a classic analog 'out of focus' feel to some of the floral images. Some of my camera’s images these days are almost way too sharp and can look so 'digital', so it was fun to 'look backwards'."
