"Iceland is a strange, beautiful and moody place; there are over 100 names for wind. We experienced gentle breezes to gale-force winds. Once out of Reykjavík it is very quiet. You just don’t hear the machinations of the world. The skies are clear of pollution, even on overcast days you can see into forever. The landscape has so many variables, from moonscapes to valleys completely covered in thick layers of moss. It is a wonderful destination and I would love to visit it again. We only just scratched the surface."
