"While traveling, or even just commuting everyday to work, loads of things seem to 'find me'. Some of them are important, others are less so, but many of them are so impressive that I want to share them with others. I often think that digital photography is rather similar to classical painting. Just like in the Baroque era, we have achieved technical perfection. The possibility of making needle-sharp photographs allows us to make great shots, at any given time. Everything on earth has its own evolution…. and so does digital photography. Using Hipstamatic, I can add my impressions to the pictures; my feelings at the precise moment the picture is taken.
This short series of photos was taken in Nepal, where chaos and peace, spirit and substance seemingly coexist in harmony. A perfect place to be 'impressed'."
