"I like John S, mainly for the blue-to-green cast it imparts, particularly in ambient lighting. Colours in the image are richer. Big Up is pretty much effect-neutral, except for the random frames. These can be black, pink, yellow, yellow and pink together, and pink with white. Therefore, I always take multiple shots, then choose which frame works best with my subject. In general though, I tend to favour the black frame, as it's less intrusive / distracting, and compliments the bluish-green cast I'm after from the John S lens.'
