"Eyes" - Boston, Massachusetts

"This picture evolved out an attempt to create a very different image for the #Makebeautiful theme 'Eyes'. I was attempting to film magnified text through a pair of glasses, emphasizing the clear text while unmagnified text looked distant and out of focus. The attempt was not working so I performed a Multiple Exposure selfie (using a bathroom mirror to see the opposite side of the camera) and the contents of an antique book. Tinto provided the focal variance; the glasses give the illusion that the sharper text superimposed on them are closer to the viewer and three dimensional."
