"Each time I travel, I put together a hista-book. I also try to keep to a particular combo for each city or country that I am visiting, representative of the mood and my way of seeing the location. In New York the choice was a no-brainer: Tejas with a few changes of film, but in Venice, on the other hand, the choice was very difficult. Venice is a labyrinth cliché... Aged beauty, crass beauty, flashy beauty, true beauty, Venice touches one and all, even the most blasé or disenchanted! All the combos vied for priority in my camera given the vast photographic scope. Even the intercom is beautiful in Venice. So in order to keep pace with my changing moods during my walks in Venice, I had to change combos very frequently."
