"My portfolio here showcases Bangalore (South India) often fondly referred to as the Silicon Valley of India. I have deliberately chosen to not focus on the well-to-do IT folk with their penthouses, nice cars and cafe/fine dining culture, but instead I've trained my camera on everyday India or the everyday Indian. I tried going to places that an ordinary Indian might visit regularly, like the bazaars, temples and side-streets and hopefully some of the photos will pick up the chaotic, frenzied energy that so makes up the major towns and cities of India.
For this portfolio I mostly shot with the Eric lens because I just love the happy, unexpected bursts of color that it produces... It's a little like India, in that, you may never know what color you're going to encounter as you turn a street corner, except, you know it's going to be vibrant and beautiful!"
