"I love Marseille, France! I recently took two trips to this amazing city that offers something for almost everyone. I truly believe that Marseille is such an interesting and dynamic city given its historical development, ethnic and cultural diversity, and artistic offerings. It's not surprising that last year it was the official European cultural city; you see this clearly while walking around the city. There are several new museums, the most important one being the MuCEM at the entrance to the Old Port. Many of my shots of metallic structures, shadows, and people were taken there. Things have been cleaned up a bit in Marseille, although it’s still rough around the edges, which I like."
