"I really love this tree. It is difficult to describe in words this old oak and the emotions it stirs in me. The tree emits a dignified and silent magic as it stands post atop a Bronze Age grave mound in the middle of a field. I try to visit in all kinds of weather and at different times of the day. The oak is always there, yet never the same.
This photo was taken on the most beautiful day so far this winter. The world was dressed in glimmering frost and the sun shone from a pale blue sky."
