"After dropping my sister off at the Vancouver International Airport in the early evening, I took a detour to Iona Island Park adjacent to the airport just as the sun was setting into the Georgia Straight. This jetty stretches 4 kms (2.5 miles) out into the sea and it is a favorite place to go while visiting Vancouver as it is also beside a wildlife sanctuary. As I was taking this photo there was a large flock of snow geese circling over the wetlands nearby and at times like this I wish a photo could also capture sounds - here,  of the hundreds of geese honking as the sun set into the sea."
