"I like to shoot the expert skateboarders down at Venice Skate Park. Their ridiculous level of skill and ability to inhabit the zone is so inspiring. This time, I noticed a novice skateboarder pushing the boundaries of his comfort zone. I love this image because even though it’s a silhouette, his expression comes across so clearly and eloquently."
