"Most of my skate images rely on backlight to produce dramatic silhouettes. The other day someone told me they were bored with them. At first I was a little peeved but then I thought I'd try something different. There was this skateboarder trying to perfect a trick, repeating the same move over and over again. So I lay myself down on the beach and waited for him to appear above me."
