"I came across these scene one morning recently when I had stopped to buy coffee before work. Taken by the stark contrast of the the concrete, pavement and leafless trees in the stark morning light of a winter's day. I shot off a few frames to see how the Madalena/BlackKeys Extra Fine combo would render the scene. Pleased by the result I waited for some passing traffic the populate the scene. These two young men came by, conversing and on the lookout. There is an something unspoken going on in this image, it could be a frame from a film, there is a narrative but the story line is ambiguous."
