"St Hilary’s Mission was constructed some time around 1888 in the town of Tiburon, California. It is constructed in what is called Carpenter Gothic, and is one of the few remaining examples of this style. The Mission was named after an early saint, Hilary, Bishop of Poitiers, France who died in 368 AD. This small mission sits on a hillside with a panoramic view of San Francisco bay. St. Hilary’s continued service until 1954."
