"After wandering through San Francisco's vibrant Chinatown for a day, on a recent visit, I was compelled to go back. The colorful sights appealed to my eye, it's energy, my soul, and towards the end of the second day, I happened upon this fabulous woman. Colorful in her own right, she stood out amongst the many pilgrims to this literary Mecca, City Lights bookstore, home to the Beat Generation and its icons, like Jack Kerouac. She was decked out in a hair bow, carried a hot pink sequin bag, and a camera. Her enthusiasm for this by-gone era and its notable cultural figures was evident as she was snapping away at the bookstore, and I, in turn, was lucky to capture this lively character upon her pilgrimage."
