"For the last few weeks the mornings in the UK have been mild and there hasn't been much frost around. On Wednesday, this changed and winter returned for a few hours. A sparkly sunrise and crispy frost set up the best photography opportunity for a while.
This photo was captured at around 6:30AM with the sun rising behind a light mist and wintry oak. Within around 20 minutes of the sun rising, the mist was gone and the frost was melting. This shot, really was a photo of a brief moment in time.
For this shot, the Gotland film was used to soften the tones of the image and enhance the misty mood. A little extra warmth was added with the Juicy Orange flash as well."
