Photo of the day by Lee Atwell

Film:  DC
Flash:  Jolly Rainbo 2X

"There was a storm warning in the Puget Sound area and just prior to taking this photo the wind was raging with a deluge of heavy rain mixed with sleet and hail. As I approached this field, the sky broke momentarily and the sun burst onto the daffodils - It felt like i was in the eye of a tornado. The wind was still strong, however, buffeting the camera, and even though I was holding it firmly with both hands, it was very challenging to capture a straight horizon! John S lens accentuated the deep blue of the stormy sky while the Jolly Rainbo 2X flash minimized it's usual green cast."
