"The Vintgar gorge is one of the most popular natural features in Slovenia. The path through Vintgar gorge leads along wooden bridges, galleries and the rushing Radovna river, which snakes through the picturesque gorge, measuring 1600 meters and ending in the beautiful 26-meter Šum waterfall. One day before we went hiking through the gorge, we had heavy rainfall so the waterfall looked even more magnificent. Not only the view of the huge torrent of water cascading down was impressive; the roaring of the falling water also displayed the power of nature."
