"The image, captured in the heart of down town Sydney, focus's on the interplay of shadow and the movement of the subject. The sun in Sydney at this time of the year (late Autumn) is very low in the sky and in the late afternoon the shadows seem appear to stretch for eternity. The subject of the picture was running down the sidewalk in full flight, her hair bobbing up and down as she moved. I noticed this and managed to capture the moment her ponytail flipped up into the air. This, combined with the architecture and shadows produced an effective image."
