"The CN Tower (Toronto, Canada), which was built by Canadian National Railways in 1976, is apparently the tallest (or one of the tallest) free-standing structures in the Western Hemisphere, at 553.33 m - 1,815 ft, 5 inches. As well, I presume it is likely the annually most photographed subject in Canada."
